 I will work with our council and mayor to join with the county on expanding and accelerating Northumberland Housing Corporation's projects to dramatically increase the number of public and accessible housing builds.

I will advocate for Cobourg to create its own housing development division within the town's planning department to take direct control of this challenge.

I will advocate for any low-hanging options to expand available housing, including ways of splitting existing properties and homes into more units, allowing and encouraging the development of garden homes, and further limiting short-term rental properties.
